The Activities Committee organizes events and socials for the parishioners of Holy Redeemer. Some of our events have included the Holiday Fair, Raffle Nights, Dinner & BINGO, Coffee after Mass, and many other events.

The Holiday Fair has been a long-running tradition in the parish. It is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving in the Nativity Parish Hall (4 Green Street, Merrimac). Parishioners donate themed gift baskets to sell, homemade baked goods, silent auction items, nearly new items, and homemade soups for lunch. It is an annual event with the families of our parish. Please plan on attending. Invite your friends and neighbors. You can get a jump on Christmas shopping or come enjoy a wide selection of homemade soups for lunch. Planning starts in June for the Holiday Fair.

Coffee socials after Mass are a fun way to meet new people. Watch the bulletin for dates.


In past years, we have hosted a Raffle Night.  Those attending the evening buy raffle tickets to win an item. Homemade dinners are available to purchase.

We have also hosted a Parish Picnic/Outdoor Mass. Mass was celebrated, followed by lunch. Hamburgers and hot dogs were grilled.
